Jadechem Conducts Comprehensive Emergency Response Drill to Strengthen Safety Readiness

To evaluate the effectiveness of its annual fire safety management program, reinforce winter safety controls, and enhance employees’ emergency response and coordination capabilities, Jadechem organized a comprehensive emergency response drill on December 18, 2025, under the theme “Preparedness Through Practice, Preventing Risks Before They Ignite.”

The drill was designed as a realistic, scenario-based exercise and took place in the Class A storage tank area. The simulated incident involved an unexpected methanol leak at a tanker unloading flange, reflecting a high-risk situation commonly faced in chemical production and storage operations.

Prior to the drill, Mr. Jin, Deputy General Manager of Jadechem, provided a detailed briefing on the drill procedures and objectives, with particular emphasis on on-site safety requirements and personnel protection throughout the exercise.

During the drill, all emergency response teams acted promptly and in close coordination under unified command. Key response actions were carried out in an orderly and efficient manner, including personnel evacuation and site security, hazardous source isolation and control, casualty search and transfer, environmental monitoring and decontamination, infrastructure repair, and information coordination. Clear command instructions and smooth information flow ensured the effective execution of each response stage.

Following the exercise, Mr. Jin Xuefei, Deputy General Manager, delivered a concluding assessment. He spoke highly of the teams’ rapid response, effective collaboration, and disciplined execution, while also emphasizing the importance of maintaining a high level of vigilance in daily operations. He noted that continuous training in emergency response skills and equipment operation is essential to ensure readiness for real-world incidents at all times.

This comprehensive drill significantly enhanced employees’ practical emergency handling capabilities and strengthened overall safety awareness. It further demonstrated Jadechem’s firm commitment to safe production, risk prevention, and sustainable operations, providing a solid safeguard for the company’s long-term and stable development.
