2026/05/13

JINGMEN, China – On April 23, 2026, the Jingmen Red Cross Society visited Jadechem (Jingmen Plant) to conduct a specialized emergency rescue training session. The initiative aimed to popularize emergency medical knowledge among employees, enabling them to master essential self-rescue and mutual aid skills while enhancing the plant's overall capacity to handle unexpected on-site medical emergencies.

Comprehensive Theory and Hands-on Practice

During the training, expert instructors provided in-depth theoretical explanations covering critical life-saving techniques, including:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

  • The Heimlich Maneuver for airway foreign body obstructions.

  • First Aid for Common Injuries, such as hemostasis (bleeding control), dressing, and wound stabilization.

Following the lecture, employees participated in hands-on simulation drills. Instructors provided one-on-one guidance, correcting techniques to ensure every participant mastered the standard rescue procedures and movements.

Strengthening the Enterprise Safety Net

The training successfully bolstered the emergency response capabilities of the workforce. By the end of the session, a group of employees qualified as certified first-aid rescuers, significantly strengthening the plant’s internal emergency support force.

A Commitment to Safety Culture

Mr. Jin Xuefei, Vice General Manager of Jadechem (Jingmen Plant), emphasized the importance of the initiative:

We encourage our employees to actively participate in emergency rescue volunteer services, ensuring they can lend a helping hand in critical moments to protect the lives of themselves and others."
