Emergency Evacuation Drill Conducted at Jadechem (Jingmen Plant)

Jadechem (Jingmen Plant) conducted an emergency evacuation drill on May 21, 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen occupational health, safety, and environmental (EHS) management, enhance emergency preparedness, and validate the effectiveness of its site-level emergency response procedures.

The drill was organized under the company’s EHS management framework, with coordinated participation from production, EHS, and relevant functional departments.

1. Objective and Scope

The exercise was designed to simulate a sudden incident in the production area requiring full-site personnel evacuation. The drill assessed the following key elements:

  • Responsiveness to emergency alerts and instruction dissemination
  • Execution of assigned duties by emergency response personnel
  • Compliance with designated evacuation routes and procedures
  • Accuracy and timeliness of personnel headcount and reporting at the assembly point

Prior to execution, Jadechem (Jingmen Plant) established a structured drill plan, clarified roles and responsibilities, and confirmed evacuation routes and response protocols to ensure operational readiness and accountability.

2. Execution

Upon activation of the emergency alarm, designated emergency response personnel promptly assumed their positions and directed employees to evacuate the production area via predefined routes.

Personnel evacuation was conducted in an orderly manner under on-site coordination, with no congestion or irregularities observed. All employees successfully reached the designated assembly area within the required timeframe.

Following evacuation, each team completed headcount verification and reported attendance status through established reporting lines to the incident commander, Mr. Fu Yuanbo, General Manager of Jadechem (Jingmen Plant).

3. Outcome

The drill was completed in an organized and controlled manner. The emergency response system operated effectively, and inter-departmental coordination met expected operational standards. The exercise achieved its intended objectives and provided practical validation of the site’s emergency preparedness framework.

4. Review and Continuous Improvement

A post-drill review was conducted by Mr. Fu Qilong, EHS Director of Jadechem (Jingmen Plant). The review identified opportunities for improvement in evacuation coordination, communication efficiency, and procedural integration.

Management reaffirmed the importance of strengthening hazard identification, risk awareness, and emergency readiness across production operations. Jadechem (Jingmen Plant) will continue to enhance its emergency management system and institutionalize regular multi-scenario drills and structured post-event reviews.

Going forward, the company remains committed to reinforcing employee safety awareness, improving organizational response capability, and continuously strengthening its EHS governance framework to ensure safe and stable production operations.
